We believe that the Bible is the written Living Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, given to us to know God and to know what is required of us to obtain salvation leading to eternal life on the new earth (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Hebrews 4:12).
We believe in God the Father (YAHWEH), God the Son (Jesus/YESHUA), and God the Holy Spirit. These three are One. Of Christ it is written: "Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever" (Romans 9:5; see also Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1-14; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
We believe that Christ Jesus died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, and that He rose again on the third day. He is alive and is coming back to put an end to all evil and all evildoers (1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 10:9; Acts 17:31; Revelation 19:11-16).
We believe in the resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust. We believe in the day of judgment. We do not believe in any secret, pre-tribulation rapture. Scripture teaches that the righteous are not taken out of the world before tribulation but are kept through it by the power of God. The gathering of the elect happens at the end of the tribulation, at the sound of the last trumpet, when Christ returns visibly and bodily. The dead in Christ rise first, and then we who are alive and remain are caught up together to meet the Lord in the air (Matthew 24:29-31; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:4-6). This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who have part in it. True believers and followers of Jesus will live eternally in His Kingdom as citizens of the new heavens and new earth, with Jesus Christ as Lord of lords and King of kings (John 5:28-29; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 20:11-15; 21:1-4; 1 Timothy 6:15).
We believe that many have been misled by feel-good, compromising preaching. That is why we are here: to expose lies and reveal the truth. God said Himself: "My people are perishing for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6). A time is coming when people will not endure sound doctrine but will heap up teachers to tickle their ears (2 Timothy 4:3-4).
We believe that the Apostle Paul's warning to Timothy describes the world we live in today. He wrote: "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof" (2 Timothy 3:1-5). These times have come. We refuse to have a form of godliness while denying its power. We call these things what they are: sin.
We believe that Jesus' sheep, at the sound of His voice, will react and follow Him, their Lord and King, their Master. He calls His own sheep by name, and they know His voice (John 10:27-28). They do not follow a stranger.
This is not natural ability. It is the work of the Holy Spirit. The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned (1 Corinthians 2:14). But those who have the Holy Spirit dwelling in them are given eyes to see and ears to hear (Deuteronomy 29:4; Matthew 13:16-17; Revelation 2:7). The Spirit of truth guides us into all truth, glorifies Christ, and takes of what is His and shows it to us (John 16:13-15). Without the Holy Spirit, a man cannot recognize the voice of the Shepherd. With the Spirit, the sheep hear and follow.
We believe in being straight shooters with the Word of God. No compromising. No worrying about feelings. If you see a group of people standing on the railroad tracks and a train is coming at full speed and it is near, do you tell them nicely to move? No. You tell them the straight truth: "Move or you are going to die." No sugar-coating. Faithful are the wounds of a friend (Proverbs 27:6). The watchman who warns saves his own soul (Ezekiel 33:7-9).
We believe that we cannot take a pagan celebration and relabel it to make it sound Christian and then say we are honoring God with it. When God calls something an abomination, that is what it is. It is like relabeling a snake and calling it a butterfly. The poison is still there, and it will destroy you. The poison is sin.
We specifically reject the observance of Easter and Christmas as Christian holy days. Easter takes its name from the Babylonian goddess Ishtar (Astarte), the queen of heaven, whose worship involved fertility rites and which God condemned explicitly through the prophet Jeremiah (Jeremiah 7:18; 44:17-19). Christmas, December 25, has its origins in the Roman festival of Sol Invictus (the Unconquered Sun) and the pagan Saturnalia, not in Scripture. There is no biblical command to celebrate the birth of Christ on that day or any other. We are not to learn the way of the heathen (Jeremiah 10:2-4; Deuteronomy 12:30-31; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18). We have the proof, or we would not say it.
